  • After Sales Servicing

Despite three customer care numbers and several wholesales, I couldn’t get through their customer care number.

Which sewing machine is best?

Usha Janome Dream Stitch or Brother JA1400 – Conclusion

Now, you may wonder, is Brother better than Janome?

Brother sewing machines are good with more features at a lower price, but it lacks a major thing that is trust.

Brother does not offer demo but that is not a major problem because, anyway, 80% of people are learning sewing online these days.

Hence, you can learn brother sewing machines on your own too, but these are imported sewing machines and no customer service, or accountability is marked anywhere.

Having said that, I can not deny that I am also in love with Brother machines.

I would love to buy Brother JA 1400 if needed to buy for a beginner because it offers more design options, more speed at very less price.

Above all else, Janome and Brother both are Japanese sewing companies so you can trust them equally well.

With my experience, I can tell that automatic sewing machines do not require any servicing if you clean them regularly.

Just for precaution’s sake, you can check with your local sewing machine mechanics for Brother sewing machines' servicing if needed.

Alternatively, you may choose Usha Janome Dream Stitch, or a higher model Wonder Stitch with 13 in-built stitches at 860 SPM.

In Short, Brother JA1400 is a good value for money sewing machine for beginners, for home use.
