TIPS :-

Suppose, your dress’ armhole length is 7″.

You measure 7″ long on sleeve armhole length also, same as you measured on your dress.

When we join shoulder from chest line with a curve, the total would come out to be at least 7.5″ (if you don’t want your armhole to be loose).

If the armhole is needed for tight fitting look, then wrap the measuring tape around the armhole and take the measurement.

This measurement length is not inclusive of your shoulder seam so you need to take extra 1/4″.

Include 1/2″ seam allowance for sleeve side seam allowance or same as you kept on the sides of your dress.

I’m sure this information will be quite useful for you and let me know how it benefited you.
